NCAA Men's College World Series Returns to Omaha With Free Open Practice Day on June 11th

OMAHA, Neb. — The annual NCAA Men's College World Series (MCWS) returns this year with Opening Practice Day filled with free, family-friendly activities, photo opportunities and the chance to see fan-favorite teams on the Charles Schwab Field Omaha diamond before games officially begin.

Open Practice Day starts at 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 11 with a series of open team practices. Fans will flock from across the country to see each of the eight MCWS teams in their final hour of preparation before games commence on Friday, June 12. The open team practice schedule is listed below.

Team practices at Charles Schwab Field Omaha (All times Central Standard Time)

  • 9:10 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. — West Virginia 
  • 10:10 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. — Troy
  • 11:10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. — North Carolina
  • 12:10 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. — Ole Miss
  • 1:10 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. — Alabama
  • 2:10 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. — Oklahoma
  • 3:10 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. — Georgia
  • 4:10 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. —Texas

The MCWS Fan Fest presented by Capital One will also mark its return to Omaha on June 11 at 12 p.m. This year, interactive experiences, photo opportunities and games will offer free entertainment to visitors outside of Charles Schwab Field Omaha.

Public parking is available for Open Practice Day in the Charles Schwab Field Omaha/CHI Health Center Omaha surface parking lots, at Creighton University, or in downtown Omaha's various city-owned lots or garages.

The 2026 Men's College World Series starts Friday, June 12 and runs through Sunday, June 21, with a championship game on Monday, June 22 if necessary. For more information about Open Practice Day and all MCWS activities and tickets, visit ncaa.com/mcws.
