2022 Men’s College World Series Volunteers

The NCAA Men’s College World Series spans ten days and requires many volunteers committed to helping make this a great event. Our volunteers show each and every baseball fan what an exceptional host city Omaha is and they help continue the tradition that has been part of this city for more than 70 years. As a CWS of Omaha, Inc. volunteer, you will be creating memories for fans and student-athletes from around the country. 

College World Series of Omaha, Inc., will provide volunteer opportunities during the 2022 Men’s College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. Volunteer job descriptions are outlined below, but new opportunities may be added as we get closer to the Series.

Those who wish to volunteer must be at least 16 years of age and have the necessary means of transportation to arrive for a minimum of (2) shifts on time. Each volunteer will be provided with MCWS apparel and parking for their services during the event.

Volunteer Position Descriptions 

MCWS Fan Information Booth and Fan Fest Volunteers
Volunteers in the MCWS Fan Information Tent, will be prepared to greet fans and answer any questions regarding the event and the City of Omaha. Volunteers also will assist with checking in fans at the waiver station for the MCWS Fan Fest. This area includes interactive games, such as home run derby, speed pitch, base running and other NCAA sports like lacrosse and football toss. Additionally, there are NCAA sponsor activations where companies offer fan amenities like face painting or sign making. 

MCWS Ambassadors
MCWS Ambassadors will roam the outside of the stadium, greeting fans and answering any questions regarding the event and the City of Omaha. We will arm you with what you need to know. You just need to have good customer service skills and be comfortable talking/approaching strangers. 

MCWS Team Dinner/Parade Volunteers (Thursday, June 16)
Volunteers will assist with the MCWS Team Dinner set-up and help check wristbands as teams enter the venue. Following the dinner, volunteers will provide parade support as the teams walk to the stadium for Opening Ceremonies.

Entry/Exit Giveaway Volunteers
Volunteers will assist with the promotional giveaways at the gates. Volunteers will be assigned to a gate inside the stadium and will hand out the items to Men’s CWS fans as they enter or leave the stadium.

Game 8: Kids Run The Bases (Monday, June 20)
Volunteers will assist with the execution of “Kids Run the Bases” immediately following Game 8.
