College World Series to Offer Free Tickets at Opening Celebration Day
Fans of the 2019 NCAA College World Series attending the free Opening Celebration Day activities on Friday, June 14 also can receive a free General Admission ticket to June 17-21 games.
Each fan is eligible to receive one ticket voucher. To sign up, fans can visit the “CWS Table” at Gate One in TD Ameritrade Park Omaha between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Event ambassadors will assist with applications. On Sunday, June 16, successful, qualifying fans will receive a digital voucher. Those fans can print their voucher and redeem it at the park’s box office. Vouchers will be for Games 5-12, June 17-21, and can be redeemed depending on general admission availability.
General admission tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis and allow fans access to about 5,500 seats and standing room only for an additional 1,500 fans. The GA line forms on the east side of the stadium near Fan Fast (Lot C). More information about GA Tickets can be found at NCAA.com/CWSGA.
Opening Celebration Day is full of free activities beginning at 9 a.m. CT with team practices and autograph sessions. Evening activities are also a part of the free, all-day, public celebration and include the parade of teams, Wings of Blue Air Force parachute team, this year’s musical headliner, The Eli Young Band and a fireworks finale.
The CWS Fan Fest presented by Capital One is also free and provides family-friendly entertainment, including NCAA-sport interactive games, photo opportunities, prizes and more.

Here is the Opening Celebration Day schedule:
- Team Practices and autograph sessions presented by AT&T, TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, 9 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.
- CWS Fan Fest presented by Capital One, TD Ameritrade Park Omaha- Lot C and Mike Fahey Street, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
- Parade of Teams, Mike Fahey Street to ballpark, 8:30 p.m. CT
- Opening Ceremonies, TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, 8:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. CT, featuring team introductions, U.S. Air Force Wings of Blue Air Force parachute team, country phenom Eli Young Band and the fireworks finale.
Public parking is available for Opening Celebration Day at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha/CHI Health Center Omaha, Creighton University or city-owned lots in the downtown Omaha area. Metro’s circulator routes also will be available.
The 2019 NCAA Men’s College World Series runs from Saturday, June 15, through Tuesday, June 25, or Wednesday, June 26.
