The Road to Omaha Run

Registration for the 9th Annual Road to Omaha Run, Sunday, June 23, at 8 a.m. is open online and features a new shirt and medal for the family-friendly, public event that supports improvements to Omaha-area parks.

This year’s event is encouraging runners, walkers, baseball fans and families to “Run Like You’re Stealing Home” as participants take a lap around the warning track of Omaha’s baseball cathedral, TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, Home of the NCAA® Men’s College World Series®. You can register online at

No, you can’t actually run the bases during the race, but you will be able to see yourself on the park’s big screen as one of the main highlights of the run, which begins at Lewis and Clark Landing on the Omaha riverfront.

Registrations are $30 for adults and $25 for children and students 18 and younger and can be completed online at All participants receive a custom-designed, performance T-shirt bearing this year’s theme and a Road to Omaha statue commemorative medallion.
