National Anthem Auditions
CWS, Inc., is now accepting applications to perform the national anthem at the College World Series. Applications and music files must be submitted online no later than 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018. No late entries will be accepted.
Applicants must submit only one a cappella rendition (with no voice enhancements or background music) of the National Anthem (i.e. YouTube video, music/audio file, etc.). Studio quality recordings are not necessary and should not be more than one year old. Because of space limitations, groups larger than 15 individuals are discouraged from applying. Finally, due to the large number of applications we receive, you are limited to applying either as a soloist or as a duo or group.
Following the application deadline, a panel of judges will review all the submissions. All applicants will be notified of their status by email no later than the week of March 26, 2018. The top 30 applicants will be asked to audition live at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha on Saturday, April 21, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Central Time. All individuals listed on the application must be available on April 21 to audition and only those that audition live will be eligible for advancement. No alternate date will be offered. Seventeen finalists will be selected to perform at the 2018 College World Series.
Unfortunately, if the guidelines listed above are not followed completely, the applicant will be automatically disqualified. CWS, Inc., management also reserves the right to make exceptions to the final audition process.
