New Season Ticket Selection Process Unveiled for 2018 NCAA® Men’s College World Series®
College World Series of Omaha, Inc. ®, the NCAA and TD Ameritrade Park Omaha, are unveiling a new selection process, allowing the public to apply for season tickets to the NCAA Men’s College World Series. Click here now to sign up!
Baseball fans nationally who apply online by midnight CST on March 1 will be eligible for a random drawing to buy up to four season tickets to the Men’s College World Series, held in June each year at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.
The number of tickets available for the selection process is yet to be determined and will be based on existing season-ticket holder renewals. Most of the tickets for new applicants will be in the 300 level at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha with the ability to request seat relocations in future years.
The new process replaces the former “waiting list” for season tickets, which ended in 2017 after all waiting list members were given the option to purchase tickets for the 2017 CWS. Because demand is expected to be high, the random selection is designed to provide all fans equal opportunity to tickets, regardless of whether they can apply as soon as the application opens.
“Based on feedback from season ticket holders and fans, we thought this would be a great way to engage the broadening fan interest in the CWS and provide a fair way for baseball fans across the country to access tickets.” said CWS of Omaha, Inc., Ticket Chairman Herb Hames.
The names drawn for season tickets will receive email notice by March 6 and will be able to purchase up to four season tickets. Season ticket prices range from $425 to $493, plus applicable taxes and fees. If fans purchase season tickets, those seats are renewable every year.
Season Ticket applicants also will receive information and offers for the various ticket options, including general admission tickets, single game reserved seats, The NCAA Experience® which offers hospitality and travel packages, and the NCAA Ticket Exchange®, the official fan-to-fan marketplace.
Those with interest in club seats at TD Ameritrade Park can contact the Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) at 402-599-6970.
