2019 CWS National Anthem Performers Include Military Veterans, an Opera Singer and a Former Miss Nebraska

Seventeen vocalists, choral ensembles and instrumentalists from four states will perform the national anthem at the 2019 NCAA Men’s College World Series on Saturday, June 15 through Tuesday, June 25 or Wednesday, June 26.

The performers represent a wide array of national and hometown talent.

Every year, people from around the country audition for the opportunity to sing the national anthem in front of more than 20,000 fans. Since 2006, college baseball’s national championship attracts more than 300,000 fans each year.

This year, about 100 vocalists, choral ensembles and instrumentalists from 16 states auditioned. Those selected include a war veteran, an opera singer and more. Some of the performers have sung the national anthem at professional and amateur sporting events across the country. For all, singing the national anthem at the NCAA Men’s College World Series is a bucket-list experience.
